MSP ® Practitioner Reregistration
(course code MSPR2)
Overview
In line with international standards on accreditation, the registration of MSP Registered Practitioners expires after 5 years. Practitioners may reregister from 3 to 5 years after the date they attained their registration.
This Seminar provides each participant with an update on any recent changes to MSP, then prepares them to sit the Practitioner Reregistration Exam.
Course Objectives
The Practitioner Reregistration Seminar will:
- Provide participants with a bridging between the previous and current versions of MSP;
- Provide careful and detailed preparation for the Practitioner Reregistration Exam.
Who Should Attend
- MSP Registered Practitioners whose registration is about to expire.
Prerequisites
Participants must be Registered MSP Practitioners.
Course Content
The Reregistration Seminar is in two parts:
- A bridging briefing, during which we provide candidates with an update on recent changes to MSP;
- A Practitioner Reregistration Exam preparation seminar
Certification Exam
The Practitioner Reregistration Exam is a 1¼ hour, open manual, scenario based multiple choice exam. The candidate must answer 3 questions presented in the following styles:
- Classical multiple choice
- Yes/No
- Multiple response
- Matching
- Sequencing
- Assertion/Reason
There are 30 question items worth 1 mark each, giving a maximum score for the exam of 30 marks. The candidate must score 16 (50%) or more marks to pass the exam.
Successful candidates will be required to re-register within 3-5 years of the renewed certification.
We conduct these exams on behalf of the relevant Examination Institute, subject to their terms and conditions.
Please note: Exam candidates must bring signed photo ID (passport, driving licence, etc.) as they will be asked to produce it by the invigilator prior to the exam.

Professional Development
Candidates who pass the Reregistration exam are entitled to continue to style themselves as a "Registered MSP Practitioner" on CVs and business cards.
